Mon Komo Hotel

Mon Komo Hotel provides a setting like no other, and with stunning views across Moreton Bay it is making its mark as the finest wedding venue on the Redcliffe peninsula.

The Mon Komo Hotel is a part of the award winning and recently completed Mon Komo precinct which also includes a serviced apartment resort by beach at Redcliffe. The evolution of Mon Komo is the result of developer Kyko Group’s determination in creating benchmark developments with world class standards.

Mon Komo Hotel’s design draws inspiration from luxury Caribbean resorts. The renowned designers, Brand + Slater Architects have done an incredible job in capturing a sense of effortless style with the use of stone, timber and marine elements all inspired by natural materials from the Caribbean environment.

The venue boasts a large pre-function area with own bar, where your guests can mingle and enjoy a drink before your reception. Four multi-purpose rooms are available, each named after Caribbean Islands. The Antigua Room, the Bahamas Room and the Cayman Room are perfect for smaller size weddings and the larger Caribbean Islands room caters for up to 180 guests for a sit down function or up to 300 guests for a cocktail style event. A bridal room complete with ensuite, is also available to allow brides a private place to prepare and refresh during their reception.

With more than 22 years of experience in the culinary industry, Mon Komo Hotel’s head chef Simon Pettigrew has created an elaborate range of menu options for weddings and events. Drawing from a modern Caribbean influence, each dish is a culmination of passion, technique and fresh produce. Expect dishes like sea salted pork belly on a charred pineapple and chilli salsa, pan seared sword fish with a sweet corn and basil fritter and cardamom minted yoghurt with coconut black sticky rice and mango sorbet. Traditional favourites are also available throughout the extensive range of canapés, mains, banquets and desserts.

Drinks packages with the option of colourful Caribbean-style cocktails, will be sure to impress your guests on arrival. The wine list showcases a wide selection of Australian and imported wines and feature alongside an impressive range of traditional and boutique beers available by bottle or on tap.

There are photographic opportunities at every corner, including the sub-tropical gardens throughout the resort, water features and the sandy shoreline of Suttons Beach, being only steps away. The Caribbean inspired design elements of the venue, such as marine rope features, stone clad walls, dramatic lighting and splashes of tropical colour, also make for unique and artistic shots.

Mon Komo Hotel is located just 35 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, and is even closer to the Brisbane Domestic and International airports. Off-street parking is available as well as luxury accommodation at Oaks Mon Komo for your bridal party and wedding guests.

Mon Komo Hotel is undoubtedly a dream place for your dream wedding.
